As part of the 2012 line refresh, the Dilong replica received a simplified color scheme and new Wild Safari style tag. The most notable difference between this and the original is the overall lighter gray color. This seems to be due to the elimination of the gray paint which covered most of the sides on the original model. Instead, the dominant color is now the unpainted lighter gray base plastic.
